Job Description
Accountant with GST Experience (Alwarpet, Chennai) – Female
- Qualification: B.Com or Any Degree
- Experience: 3 to 4 years
- Salary Package: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000
- Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in Tally software
- Strong knowledge of GST and taxation
- Excellent communication skills
- Independently working all entries in Tally
- Bank Reconciliation
- Working knowledge of Accounts
- 3-5 years experience
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, profit & loss reports, and balance sheets.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
GST & Taxation
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with GST rules, input tax credit (ITC) adjustments, and reverse charge mechanisms.
- Manage TDS deductions, payments, and returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.).
Compliance & Auditing
- Ensure adherence to tax laws, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and government regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data.
- Keep updated with GST amendments and tax laws.
