We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Trainee to join our finance team. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates starting their career in accounting who are eager to learn and grow under professional guidance. The Accountant Trainee will assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance department in various operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Accounting Support
-
Assist in recording daily business transactions in accounting software.

Support in posting journal entries and maintaining general ledgers.

Help prepare vouchers, invoices, and payment receipts.
2. Record Keeping & Documentation
-
Maintain organized files for financial documents such as bills, receipts, and bank statements.
-
Assist in reconciling ledgers and bank accounts.
-
Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable Assistance
-
Support in processing supplier payments and tracking outstanding dues.
-
Assist in issuing invoices to customers and following up on payments.

Help monitor customer accounts for delayed payments.
4. Taxation & Compliance Support
-
Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns under guidance.
-
Help in maintaining compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
-
Organize documents required for audits and assessments.
5. Financial Reporting Support
-
Assist in preparing basic financial statements such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.

Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
-
Provide data and reports for management decision-making.
Skills & Competencies Required
Technical Skills
-
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
-
Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar preferred).
-
Understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax basics is an advantage.
Personal Skills
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Good organizational and time-management skills.
-
Willingness to learn and take instructions from senior accountants.
-
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently after training.
