Job Description
We are looking for an Accounting Executive to perform daily accounting tasks. Accounting Executive responsibilities include managing Payables and reimbursements, entering financial transactions, creating invoices, and collection. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

- Billing & Invoicing
- Payables Management
- Bank Reconciliation
- Petty Cash Management
- Debit Note/Credit Note
- Import/Export Documentation
- Customer Correspondence
- Banking Correspondence
- Foreign Remittance & Interest Calculation
- Accounts Finalization
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Accounting Operations
-
Record daily financial transactions such as sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts including ledgers and journals.

Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
2. Billing and Invoicing
-
Prepare and issue GST-compliant invoices for clients/customers.

Coordinate with internal departments to verify invoice details.
-
Track and record invoice payments and outstanding receivables.
-
Handle billing queries from customers and resolve discrepancies.
3. Taxation and Compliance
-
Assist in GST filings: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9 under supervision.

Handle TDS entries, and ensure compliance with payment and filing deadlines.
-
Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory compliance and audit preparation.
4. Bank and Account Reconciliation
-
Perform monthly bank reconciliation (BRS) for all accounts.
-
Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly.
-
Ensure ledger accuracy and resolve any mismatches in a timely manner.
5. Accounts Payable and Receivable
-
Process vendor bills, verify supporting documents, and prepare payment vouchers.

Follow up on outstanding receivables and maintain customer aging reports.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding payment status.
6. Inventory and Purchase Coordination (if applicable)
-
Assist in maintaining purchase entries and stock records in the system.

Match purchase orders, goods received notes, and invoices before entry.

Update inventory records in coordination with the store or procurement team.
7. Data Management and Documentation
-
Maintain proper records of vouchers, bills, invoices, and other accounting documents.
-
Ensure physical and digital filing of important financial data and returns.
-
Support audits by providing required documentation and clarification.
8. Software Usage and Reports
-
Work on Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and other relevant accounting tools.
-
Prepare and share basic Excel reports on expenses, billing, collections, and payments.
-
Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports under supervision.
