Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Organizing, analyzing and tracking various projects across the accounting, finance, tax, and payroll functions of the company
2. Performing all investment banking functions of the company and raising capital for the company and its projects by preparing investment memorandums, pitch books, comparables analysis, and competitive, market and industry research
3. Maintaining accounts and budgets in MS Excel and QuickBooks and preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries
4. Summarizing and tracking current financial status, preparing balance sheets, income and profit, and loss statements, and other accounting and finance reports
5. Working on reconciliation and conducting internal and statutory audits and filing tax returns of the company
6. Managing investor relations with HNI, family offices, angel, VC, PE investors, investment bank/s, incubators, and accelerators
7. Maintaining accounting and budgeting, auditing, tax, payroll, and payment processing functions of the company and preparing systems, policies, and procedures for the same
8. Answering accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy
9. Complying with federal, state, and local taxation, financial and legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and advising on needed actions, both in India and the US
