Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
-
Maintain books of accounts on Tally / ERP (Sales, Purchase, Journal, Bank, Cash entries)
-
Finalisation of accounts up to Trial Balance, P&L and Balance Sheet
-
Handling GST compliance – GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation with GSTR-2B
-
TDS compliance – deduction, payment, returns (24Q, 26Q), Form 16/16A
-
Bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and ledger reconciliations
-
Assist in statutory audits, internal audits and tax audits
-
Coordinate with auditors, consultants and internal teams
-
Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST and other statutory laws
-
Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and assessments
-
Support management with MIS reports and periodic financial data.
Required Skills & Competencies:-
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
-
Hands-on experience in Tally, Excel and GST portal
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Good analytical and reconciliation skills
-
Disciplined, deadline-oriented, and responsible approach to work
