 JOB OVERVIEW

IDEAL CAREER ZONE is hiring suitable candidates for the position of Accounts Executive for a construction company and FMCG Company located in the Dakshindari–Lake Town area and Maniktala main road of Kolkata.

Candidates should have a good understanding of manual accounting, computerised accounting, bookkeeping, billing, invoicing and day-to-day accounting operations. Applicants with knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and financial documentation will be preferred.

Both freshers with relevant accounting knowledge and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Maintain day-to-day manual and computerised accounting records.

 Handle sales and purchase entries accurately.

 Prepare bills, invoices, vouchers and other accounting documents.

 Maintain cash books, ledgers, journals and books of accounts.

 Perform bank reconciliation and monitor financial transactions.

 Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

 Assist with GST-related accounting, documentation and returns.

 Handle TDS-related entries, calculations and supporting documents as required.

 Maintain payment receipts, expense records and supporting bills.

 Assist in preparing financial statements, reports and other accounting summaries.

 Maintain proper records of company expenses, vendor payments and customer receipts.

 Perform basic taxation and other routine financial activities.

 Ensure accuracy, proper documentation and timely updating of accounting records.

 Coordinate with management, vendors and other departments regarding accounts-related matters.

 CANDIDATE PROFILE

Educational Qualification:

• B.Com, M.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce/Accounting preferred.
• Candidates with relevant accounting knowledge and practical skills may also apply.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Understanding of manual and computerised accounting.
• Knowledge of sales and purchase entries, billing and invoicing.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS and bank reconciliation.
• Basic knowledge of taxation and financial documentation.
• Computer proficiency and the ability to maintain digital records.
• Good communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Accuracy, attention to detail and a responsible working attitude.
• Ability to manage daily accounting tasks independently.

Experience:

• Freshers with relevant accounting knowledge can apply.
