Job Description
The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks. This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, and providing support to the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Keeping:
· Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
· Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
· Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed.
· Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and manage aged receivables.
3. Bank Reconciliation:
· Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
· Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
4. Financial Reporting:
· Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
· Generate periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
5. General Ledger Management:
· Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and adjustments.
· Conduct monthly closing activities and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
