Job Description

Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions:

Record and maintain accounting records for all financial transactions.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Accounts Payable:

Process supplier invoices, verify discrepancies, and issue payments.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain vendor files.

Accounts Receivable:

Generate customer invoices, monitor receivables, and follow up on overdue payments.
Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve billing issues.

Bank Reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Record bank transactions and ensure accuracy of bank balances.

Financial Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and provide explanations as needed.

Audit and Compliance:

Assist in audits by providing necessary information and preparing audit schedules.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.

Payroll Processing:

Assist in processing payroll and related statutory payments.
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure timely payment of salaries.

Financial Analysis:

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

General Ledger Maintenance:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Post journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Taxation:

Assist in preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., GST, income tax).
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Documentation and Filing:

Maintain organized filing systems for financial records and documents.
Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions and procedures.
