About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assisting the finance team by submitting relevant documents related to purchase and stores
2. Preparing and submitting required vouchers for material purchase and submitting invoices and bills regularly
3. Maintaining and updating required records in ERP and on the system
4. Ensuring that accounting and documentation for material inward/allocation and consumption are followed
5. Reconciling stock on a monthly and quarterly basis and assisting the finance team in stock reconciliation and maintaining books
6. Coordinating with the finance and purchase executive to ensure timely accounting of received materials and following up with suppliers on delivery schedules
7. Facilitating and supporting data maintenance of purchase-related data
8. Understanding the processes to be followed to account for the expenses and purchases on ERP
9. Supporting the purchasing team in purchasing material locally
10. Ensuring 100% adherence of stores procedures
