Job Description
Desired skill set/experience
1. Chartered Accountant with 1-4 years’ experience OR highly relevant accounting experience between 4-8 years with strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards
2. Relevant experience must include
a. hands-on knowledge of book-keeping preferably for ITES sector,
b. Internal/external audits
c. annual reporting,
d. Company Tax filing,
e. GST returns and rules (preferably for Export Oriented Units)
f. Experience managing team (desirable but not essential)
g. Preparation of financial statements
h. Knowledge of US GAAP (desirable but not essential)
3. Highly organized with willingness/ability to follow and improve accounting compliance standards
Responsibilities
• Review and approve day-to-day accounting transactions
• Ensure compliance of internal book-keeping standards and policies
• Prepare month-end and annual financial statements and report to the management team
• Prepare/Review monthly GST returns and TDS reconciliation statements
• Support the management in preparing and tracking the monthly budget
• Stay current with relevant accounting standards and rules including Income tax and GST. Conduct periodic internal review to ensure compliance
• Ensure timely completion of external audit
