Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting and back-office operations at our medical distribution office in Vaishali Chitrakoot, Jaipur. The role includes working with company software, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting inventory and billing functions, and helping in packing pharmaceutical products as required.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in basic accounting and billing tasks and is comfortable working in a small office environment that includes both desk and physical responsibilities. Preference will be given to candidates who are permanent residents of Jaipur and living with their families (not on rent).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Software Handling:

Operate the company’s accounting and inventory management software (training will be provided if needed).

Record day-to-day transactions including sales, purchases, returns, receipts, and payments.

Create and manage invoices for B2B medical clients (hospitals, pharmacies, clinics).

Reconcile accounts with suppliers, distributors, and customers.

Track payment dues, collections, and send timely reminders for outstanding payments.
2. GST and Tax Compliance:

Maintain accurate GST records and prepare data for filing returns (under CA’s supervision).

Ensure proper documentation for input credit and output GST reconciliation.

Prepare TDS details and expense summaries for tax compliance (if applicable).
3. Inventory and Stock Maintenance:

Maintain records of incoming and outgoing medicine stock.

Update software regularly with batch numbers, expiry dates, and product movement.

Cross-check packing and dispatch lists against orders to ensure accuracy.

Inform management about low-stock items and coordinate with vendors for timely replenishment.
4. Packing and Dispatch Assistance:

Help in the packing of medicine products for dispatch to hospitals, pharmacies, and medical practitioners.

Label boxes, arrange invoices with orders, and ensure the correct quantity and batch is shipped.

Work closely with the delivery/logistics personnel to ensure timely order completion.
5. General Office Administration:

Handle phone calls related to billing, orders, and follow-ups with clients.

Maintain clean and organized files (digital and hard copy) for accounting and compliance purposes.

Support occasional tasks such as order entry, checking product expiry dates, and coordinating with suppliers.
Location Preference:

Candidates must be residing in Jaipur with their families (not in rented accommodation)

Preference will be given to local residents near Vaishali Nagar, Chitrakoot, or surrounding areas
Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST

Familiarity with accounting software (Marg, Tally, Busy, or similar)

Good typing and computer handling skills (MS Excel, email)
