Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) invites application for the position Accounts Officer
Job Title: Accounts Officer
Job Family: Accounts
Reporting Relationship: Assistant Director (Admin)
Salary and Other Emoluments: As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix, Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1, 77,500). On campus accommodation will be provided. In case of unavailability of on-campus accommodation, HRA will be admissible.
Hours: Full-time
Contractual: For a fixed term of three years including a probationary period of initial six months from the date of joining the Institute and this will not confer any right of permanence

Qualifications: Essential
a. Commerce Graduate from a UGC recognized university with minimum 55% marks.
b. A minimum of a 15 years of active accounts handling experience.
Desirable
a. MBA or M.Com. Degree from a UGC recognised university/ institute.Computer Knowledge of MS- Office, Tally-ERP 9, GST etc.
b. Senior Auditor, Accounts Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer from Govt. Departments like Audit & Accounts, Defence Accounts, Civil Accounts, Railway Accounts, the Controller General of Def. Accounts and the Comptroller and Auditor General of India/ Director of Audit Def. Services etc. will be preferred.
Overall Purpose and Role: Shall be the head of the accounts department of the Institute and will be fully responsible for all the accounts processes while reporting directly to the Assistant Director (Admin)
