Accounts Officer recruitment in Bihar State Power Holding Company Ltd.
Qualification: Charted Accountant (CA) passed final examination from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ CMA/ICWA passed final examination from Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Total No of Posts : 30
Pay Band : Rs. 36,800-58,600, Consolidated monthly pay Rs. 36,800/- (Rs. Thirty Six thousand Eight Hundred only)
AGE (As on 01/01/2018) :UR (General) -Minimum Age 21 yrs,Maximum age 37 yrs
Application Fee: For Unreserved (UR) / Extremely Backward Class (EBC)/ Backward Class (BC) applicants and Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) applicants (non domicile of Bihar) Rs.1,500/- (Rupees One thousand five hundred) . For Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) applicants (domicile of Bihar only) Rs.375/- (Rupees Three hundred seventy five). For Divyang applicants (in any category) Rs.375/- (Rupees Three hundred seventy five) .
Mode of Selection: 1. The candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in CBT (Computer Based test). A combined merit list will be prepared and shortlisted candidates will be called for documents/ certificate verification as per advertised post and norms decided for different category.

About Company
The duties of the Company have been
defined in Section 18 of the Electricity Supply Act, 1948. It has been
charged with the responsibility of promoting a co-ordinated development
of generation, supply and distribution of electricity in the State of
Bihar on an efficient and economic basis of management. Though BSPHCL
deals in only one product, i.e., electrical power, its significance and
utility value is enormous for the State. Almost all aspects of modern
life-style are dependent on it in one way or another. In order to ensure
that its responsibilities are discharged effectively and efficiently,
the Company has engaged nearly 1,700 officer and 14,850 staffs on
various posts to generate its own power and to maintain proper
distribution system. It arranges to supply the electricity properly to
the consumers and maintain their equipments.
