Job Description

Accounts Payable function of Global entities with multiple currencies-Technical skills-●Responsible for the ​Global Accounts Payable (AP) function in a multi-currency environment including but not limited to checking invoices against agreements/purchase orders, verifying the invoice for accuracy and correctness, deduction of TDS and correct GST is charged as applicable, ensuring proper approvals are in place as per the approval matrix/company policies and timely processing of invoices.●Ensuring that Company AP policy is adhered to at all times while processing invoices and exceptions if any are appropriately approved in advance and highlighted to mismanagement.●Partnering with the business stakeholders to ensure they are engaged with and utilizing the vendor's services, checking on the accuracy and timeliness of billing, and whether there have been any issues related to pricing or costs. any new or ongoing problems with the vendor, and the efficiency and effectiveness with which the problems have been resolved.●Responsible for employee reimbursements by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation while protecting the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.●Preparing a control sheet of the entity-wise invoices for internal monitoring and control purposes. Recording appropriate and timely entries in the general ledger for the invoices and payments ensuring expenses are booked to correct ledger accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports.●Preparing monthly TDS and GST files for payments and TDS and GST Returns and monthly periodic filing of all relevant Returns.●Preparing MIS as required by the management from time to time ensuring accuracy and completeness of the information provided. Preparing letters of correspondence with vendors and banks as required.●Any other work areas as assigned from time to time.
