Activity center for kids In Mylapore and Mandaveli
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Conducting Classes:
-
Conduct interactive and age-appropriate sessions as per the area(s) of expertise.

Plan weekly/monthly lesson plans for each batch or student level.
-
Customize teaching methods based on the age, learning speed, and interest of students.
-
Ensure regular student attendance and maintain discipline during sessions.
2. Specific Activity Roles:
-
Drawing & Colouring: Teach fundamentals of shapes, lines, forms, color theory, and creativity enhancement through sketching, shading, and coloring techniques.

Handwriting Improvement: Focus on correct posture, grip, stroke techniques, spacing, and cursive writing (English & regional languages as applicable).

Phonetics: Teach English phonics, pronunciation, phonemic awareness, blending, and decoding to improve reading fluency and accent clarity.

Musical Instruments: Provide basic to intermediate training in keyboard, guitar, or other instruments including rhythm, chords, and notation reading.
-
Martial Arts: Teach self-discipline, self-defense techniques, katas, warm-ups, and exercises following recognized standards (with belt grading if applicable).

Yoga: Conduct sessions involving breathing exercises, postures (asanas), relaxation, and concentration suitable for children and young beginners.
3. Student Progress Monitoring:

Assess student learning through informal observations and short assessments.

Provide constructive feedback and encourage consistent improvement.

Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and participation.

Recommend next levels or certifications (where applicable).
4. Parent Communication:

Share regular updates with parents about student development and class activities.

Respond to parent inquiries or concerns related to class schedules, student performance, or curriculum.

Encourage parent participation during exhibitions, student showcases, or feedback sessions.
5. Event Coordination & Participation:

Help plan or support annual day programs, competitions, exhibitions, or showcases of student talent.

Prepare students for drawing contests, handwriting competitions, music performances, or belt tests.

Decorate classrooms or activity halls for creative events and celebrations.
6. Safety & Classroom Environment:
-
Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe, organized, and engaging environment.

Follow child protection and discipline guidelines of the institution or center.
-
Ensure equipment, tools, musical instruments, or materials are handled safely and properly maintained.
