Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION – Ad Operations Engineer.

- You will
partner with the Sales team to deliver outstanding service to our clients and partners.
- Become an expert advisor to internal and external clients on media planning (pre-sales) and
execution of media campaigns (post-sales)
- You will have growing exposure to ever-changing technology while providing consultative advice
on advertiser issues, site functionality, maintaining quality control and troubleshooting
- Become a subject matter expert on targeting and optimization and you will provide intelligent
insights on campaign results to both direct clients and agencies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction for all assigned advertising partners.
- Assuring that all creative received from the agency has been tested (QA),
- Trafficking of creative executions on a timely basis,
- Flag discrepancies, alert Account Managers, work with trafficking team to resolve the issue
- Campaign Optimization - CTR / Conversion
- Participate and contribute to weekly account status meetings, team updates, and client
calls/meetings, as needed
- QA creative assets and third party ad tags; provide recommendations and actively contribute solutions to quickly resolve technical or creative spec related issues
- Identify and Resolve third party tracking issues
- Traffic and maintain display ad campaigns on the Appnexus Platform, ensuring that deal terms are
met including delivery rates, start and end date, reporting requirements, etc.
- Work with various internal departments and 3rd party vendors to facilitate the implementation of
integrated campaign elements including online, mobile web/app and video ad serving
- Maintain and communicate technical specs to sales, clients and agencies
- Secure and test campaign assets to ensure compliance with YOptima creative specifications
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly campaign performance to ensure full delivery while
maximizing creative performance.
- Troubleshoot operational campaign issues with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Gain deep knowledge of different types of creative, including Flash, 3rd party advertising tags
(Sizmek, Mediaplex, Atlas, DFA) and content ads
- Become a proficient user of the YOptima suite of systems including Accel, Salesforce, DoubleClick
for Publishers, Media Mind, Pointroll, DFA and other in-house tools
- Keep on top of industry trends in online advertising and ad operations
- Manage additional projects as assigned
