Job Description

The Department of Anthropology desires to fill up 2 (Two) Adhoc Faculty positions (1-0BC and I-UR) purely on temporary basis (in the pay scale of Assistant Professor) for the Monsoon Semester (01-01-2020 to 28.05.2020).

Qualifications: M.A./M.Sc. in Anthropology with specialization in Social/Cultural Anthropology. (Other essential qualifications like clearance of NET will be as per the UGC's latest guidelines)

Desirable: Ph.D. and experience in teaching IMA and PG Courses, especially (I) Introduction to Anthropology (2) Quantitative research methods (3) Anthropology of Marginalized Communities (4) Science of Human Beings: Introduction to Anthropology .
