Job Description

About Client Company: An ISO certified Company is a diversified manufacturing and trading group in eastern India. They manufacture transmission line towers, railway electrification towers, hand pumps, Poles, PSCC inter locking concrete cement tiles and paraffin wax. They are also involved in the diversified trade in a range of goods and commodities including large Industrial supplies.

They are now looking at Expanding overseas operations and forming joint ventures with companies in similar businesses Involved as bears. It would combines the benefits of a family run business and unite it with the Effectiveness of an international group.

Currently have two open positions and would appreciate candidate:
Admin Coordinator:

Female preferred, age 40+

Prior experience as a secretary to CEO or similar admin role.

Reliable, organized, and mature in communication.

Salary: As per industry

An Administrative Coordinator, regardless of age or gender, generally manages and oversees the administrative functions of an office, ensuring smooth daily operations. For a female candidate aged 40+, the core responsibilities remain consistent with younger candidates, but her experience may bring a higher level of efficiency and problem-solving to the role. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Office Management: Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace, managing office supplies and equipment, and ensuring a comfortable and functional environment. 

Communication: Handling internal and external communications, including answering phones, managing correspondence (emails, letters), and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel. 

Scheduling and Coordination: Organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff and executives. 

Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, both physical and digital, including contact lists, databases, and important documents. 

Event Planning: Assisting with the planning and coordination of company events, meetings, and conferences. 

Project Support: Assisting with project management tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion. 

Financial Administration: Supporting budgeting and bookkeeping procedures, managing petty cash, and tracking expenses. 

Policy and Procedure Implementation: Ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, and potentially contributing to their development and improvement. 

Relationship Management: Serving as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining positive relationships. 

Problem Solving: Addressing and resolving routine administrative issues, and escalating complex situations as needed. 

Technology Proficiency: Utilizing various office software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases), and communication tools.

Experience: A 40+ candidate is likely to bring a wealth of experience in administrative coordination, potentially leading to more efficient workflows and a higher level of autonomy. 

Maturity and Professionalism: Older candidates often demonstrate a higher level of maturity and professionalism, which can be valuable in handling sensitive information and interacting with various stakeholders. 

Mentorship: The candidate may be able to mentor and guide junior staff, sharing their knowledge and experience to foster a more collaborative and productive work environment.
