Job Description
The Administrative Associate is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of MAQ Software.
As a member of the administration department, this individual will be responsible for providing support to 500+ employees and supporting business operating activities.
Key result in areas as a percentage of your overall work items
Employee operational support (~80%)
- Responsible for assisting payroll department with 100% accuracy
- Conduct new hire background checks before candidate joins
- Benefits Administration (including health insurance)
- Maintain records for employee hours, vacation and benefits
- Maintain and update internal employee contact list on a monthly basis
- Provide support to Recruitment team
- Plan company morale events and outings
- Support IT department when needed
- Work on special projects as needed
Vendor Management (~10%)
- Manage vendor accounts
- Search out new vendors that add value to the company
- Maintain personal relationships with contacts
- Process and pay all invoices
- Press vendors to provide high levels of service
Executive Support (~10%)
Assist company executives with special projects and assignments as required
Responsible for preparing and sending out daily reports on operations to executives
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented and organization skills are a must.
Above 60% throughout academic career
Must have the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment, and meet deadlines
Administrative experience working in an office environment is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts, MBA(Finance), BCom, BBA or related field is required.
