Job Description
One9 Global is a dynamic and fast-growing overseas education consultancy committed to guiding students to achieve their dreams of studying abroad. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced counsellor to join our team in Kudasan, Gandhinagar, and help aspiring students navigate the complexities of international admissions and visa processes for top destinations.
Key Responsibilities1. Student Counselling & Profile AssessmentInitial Consultation: Conduct detailed one-on-one counselling sessions with students and parents to understand their academic background, career goals, financial capacity, and country preferences (USA, UK, Canada, Europe, etc.).
Profile Evaluation: Accurately assess student profiles and recommend the most suitable courses, universities, and countries aligned with their eligibility and aspirations.
Target Achievement: Work diligently towards achieving monthly and quarterly targets for student enrollment and application submissions.
Documentation Guidance: Guide students meticulously on the preparation of admission-related documents, including Statement of Purpose (SOP), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), Resumes, and academic transcripts.
Application Submission: Oversee and manage the end-to-end university application process, ensuring timely and accurate submission to institutions.
Offer Management: Track application status, follow up with universities, and assist students in accepting offers and managing deposits.
Visa Guidance: Provide expert, accurate, and up-to-date advice on student visa and immigration regulations for key destinations (USA, UK, Canada, Europe, etc.).
Documentation Review: Critically review and verify all visa-related documentation (financial, medical, and application forms) to ensure compliance and minimize rejection risk.
Interview Preparation: Prepare students thoroughly for visa interviews, including mock sessions and guidance on expected questions.
Liaison: Coordinate and follow up with Embassies/Consulates on behalf of clients when necessary.
Stay Updated: Maintain in-depth knowledge of international education systems, university admission policies, fee structures, scholarship opportunities, and evolving visa/immigration laws for various countries.
Compliance: Ensure all company processes and client applications adhere strictly to the rules and regulations of the destination countries.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in overseas education counselling, specifically handling Admissions and Visas for countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, and/or Australia.
Education: Bachelor's degree in any field.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language (Gujarati/Hindi) for effective student and parent interaction.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, a result-oriented approach, and a high level of professionalism.
Target Driven: Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet admissions and visa deadlines.
