Job Description
AEM Developer
Key Responsibilities :
- Component development
- Template creation and management
- CSS management
- Deployment
- Integration with third party system
- Front-End development using any one of the latest JavaScript framework
- Identify opportunities for improvements that reduce complexity, time, cost, and increase effectiveness
- Work with relational and non-relational databases
- Use design patterns and frameworks to build quality software and reduce development time
- Debug applications
- Document source code and project modules
- Follow development processes as defined
- Use version control systems
- Participate in regular schedule and milestone reviews
- Unit testing is done as per protocol
- Analyse integration architecture performance
- Keep up to date with advancements in latest relevant technologies
- Learn new technologies and identify where it can serve Rage's business
Competence:
- BE/B.Tech/MCA Computer Science
- AEM Developer Certification
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands on Java & J2EE/JEE software development experience
- Minimum of 4 years of hands on experience on AEM.
Knowledge :
- Strong Experience in designing and building AEM components, workflows, OSGI bundles
- Troubleshooting issues related to OSGI configuration
- Troubleshooting dispatcher related issues.
- Strong experience in Rest web services
- Strong experience in JCR, SQL and NonSQL database
- Experience in Multisite management
- Responsive web design and cross browser compatibility
- Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies
- Experience as a lead developer
- Experience in front end javascript framework such as Angular/Vue/etc.
- Experience and full lifecycle involvement with both waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Experience with multiple source control systems: CVS, SVN, Git
- Experience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object oriented design
Skills:
- Ability to define, create, and complete a technical task without guidance
- Ability to thoroughly unit test all work and deliver an error-free technology component to the team
- Ability to deliver constructive feedback and to lead by example
- Ability to articulate a vision of the total solution
- Experience estimating development tasks
- Ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions
