Agent/ Assistant Mines Manager/ Blasting Officer/ Safety Officer job Position in West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL) on contract basis

Agent

Qualification :  Full time 4 years B.E. or B. Tech. degree / Integrated M. Tech. / Dual-degree B. Tech – M. Tech. programme / B. Sc. – B. Tech. B. Tech. through lateral entry in Mining Engineering from any institute approved / recognized by the UGC, AICTE with 1st Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency under the CMR, 1957/2017. Diploma in Safety Management from an Institute of repute is desirable. OR Full time Diploma or Diploma through lateral entry in Mining Engineering from an Institute approved by the State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development / AICTE with 1st Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency under the Coal Mines Regulation, 1957 / 2017. Diploma in Safety Management from an Institute of repute is desirable.

Experience :  01. At least 18 (eighteen) years post qualification experience of managing and operating Coal Mines, out of which not less than 03 (three) years should be in the position of Sr. Manager or equivalent in mining operation, with 02. Minimum 08 (eight) years experience as a 1st Class Mines Manager in a Mechanized Open Cast Coal Mine having at least mine production capacity of 3.0 MTPA, with 03. Experience in coal mine planning, development & operation of mechanized opencast coal mines, having up to date knowledge of mining rules & regulations and experience in dealing with regulatory authorities on operational and statutory compliances. OR 01. At least 22 (Twenty Two) years post qualification experience of managing and operating Coal Mines, out of which not less than 03 (three) years should be in the position of Sr. Manager or equivalent in mining operation, with 02. Minimum 10 (Ten) years experience as a 1st Class Mines Manager in a Mechanized Open Cast Coal Mine having at least mine production capacity of 3.0 MTPA, with 03. Assistant Mines Manager

Experience :  3 years as Assistant Manager out of which 2 years in open cast coal mine. OR 7 years post qualification experience in Coal Mine out of which 2 years in open cast coal mine.

Safety Officer

Experience :  3 years as Assistant Manager / Safety Officer in coal mines, out of which 2 years in open cast coal mines. 7 years as Assistant Manager / Safety Officer in coal mines, out of which 2 years in open cast coal mines.

Blasting Officer

Qualification :  Diploma in Mining Engineering from any institute recognized by the AICTE with at least 2nd Class Mine Manager’s Certificate

Experience :  3 years in blasting in coal mines.

Land Assistant

Nos. of Vacancies :  02

Qualification :  Madhyamik or equivalent examination with Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency holder issued under the Coal Mines regulations 1957/2017. OR Graduate in any discipline

Experience :  2 years experience in procurement of land for coal mining project(s). 5 years experience in procurement of land for coal mining project(s)

Draughtsman

Nos. of Vacancy : 01

Qualification :  Madhyamik or equivalent examination with Trade Certificate (2 years full time) in the trade Draughtsman (Civil) from any ITI recognized by NCVT/SCVT.

Experience :  5 years experience as a draughtsman in coal mines.

Remuneration :

Monthly Consolidated Remuneration on initial joining./  Mine Allowance per month

Agent :-   Rs. 75,000/-  -  Rs. 6,000/-

Assistant Mines Manager  :-   Rs. 50,000/-  -   Rs. 4,500/-

Safety Officer :- Rs. 50,000/- -   Rs. 4,500/-

Blasting Officer :- Rs. 36,000/- -   Rs. 3,800/-

Land Assistant :- Rs. 23,000/- -   Rs. 3,000/-

Draughtsman :- Rs. 23,000/- -   Rs. 3,000/-

Age Limit :  Maximum age limit of 65 years as on 01.01.2019.
