Job Description
All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi (AIIMS Delhi) invites application for the position Assistant Professor
No of Post: 252
Salary: Entry Level Pay Matrix 12 - Rs. 101500- 167400/- as per 7th CPC (plus NPA for those medical posts for which a recognized medical qualification has been prescribed as an essential qualification).
Essential Qualification and Experience:
a) i) For medical Candidate: A Medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 {candidates possessing the qualification included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act.} A postgraduate qualification e.g. MS in Anatomy or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. Three years teaching and/or research experience in a Institution in the subject of specialty recognized MS in after obtaining the qualifying degree of Anatomy or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
ii) For Non medical Candidate: Master's Degree in Anatomy from a recognized Institution or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. A Doctorate Degree from a recognized University. Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.
b) A postgraduate qualification i.e. M.D in Anesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anesthesiology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
c) i) For medical Candidate: A postgraduate qualification, i.e. MD in Biochemistry or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Biochemistry or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
ii) For Non medical Candidate: A postgraduate qualification, i.e. Master's Degree in Medical Biochemistry/ Biochemistry. Doctorate Degree of a recognized University. Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.
d) A good Master's Degree in Statistics/ Biostatics. A Doctorate Degree from a recognized university. Three years teaching and/ or research experience in a recognized institution in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.
e) D.M. in Cardiac Anesthesia (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course after MBBS) or recognized qualification equivalent thereto. One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of D.M. in Cardiac Anesthesia (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing three years or six years recognized Degree of D.M. in Cardiac Anesthesia.
