Job Description

Air hostesses are responsible for ensuring that all passengers have a positive experience on their flight. They provide customer service, ensure the safety of all passengers, and assist with other duties as needed.

Air hostesses must be able to multitask effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. They may also need to know how to perform basic medical procedures in case of an emergency.

Responsibilities:

Meeting and greeting passengers upon boarding and disembarking the airplane

Serving meals to passengers during flights

Making announcements about safety instructions in case of emergency or other important information

Explaining all safety procedures and equipment before takeoff, including seatbelt use, location of exits, life vests, etc.

Responding to passenger inquiries about flight schedules and other topics

Welcoming passengers by announcing their names over the intercom system when they board

Coordinating with other airline employees and crew members to ensure a smooth flight

Providing assistance to passengers with disabilities or special needs

Handing out blankets and pillows at the beginning of each flight
