Job Description

Dear Candidate:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and Computer-savvy Air Ticket Booking Executive to join our team in  Chennai Egmore.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge in online booking systems like Portal and should possess strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

    Manage domestic and international air ticket bookings
    Use Portal and other online platforms for reservations and modifications
    Provide clients with suitable itinerary options and fare details
    Maintain accurate booking records and ensure customer satisfaction
    Coordinate with airlines and backend support teams when necessary

Requirements:

    Proficiency in online booking tools like Portal
    Good knowledge of MS Office, Internet, and email
    Strong verbal and written communication skills
    Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Experience:
Candidates with relevant experience in air ticket booking are welcome to apply

Required Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of GDS systems: Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre (mandatory or preferred)

  • Familiarity with airline booking portals and travel aggregators

  • Basic understanding of airfares, airline codes, and IATA geography

Communication & Customer Service:

  • Fluent in English and regional language(s)

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and respond calmly in emergency travel situations

Attention to Detail:

  • Accuracy in booking names, dates, flight numbers, and passenger details

  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset

Computer Literacy:

  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with CRM tools or ticketing management systems is a plus
