Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Passenger Handling:

Assist passengers with check-in, boarding, and deplaning procedures.

Issue boarding passes, verify travel documents, and check passenger luggage.

Provide information on flight schedules, boarding gates, and airport facilities.

Handle special assistance requests such as wheelchair support, unaccompanied minors, and elderly passengers.
2. Baggage Services:

Tag and weigh passenger baggage in compliance with airline rules and safety standards.

Handle baggage-related issues like excess baggage fees, lost or damaged baggage claims.

Coordinate with the ramp and baggage handling team to ensure timely loading and unloading.
3. Boarding Gate Management:

Conduct final boarding announcements and assist passengers at the boarding gate.

Verify boarding passes and maintain orderly boarding queues.

Coordinate with cabin crew and flight dispatchers to ensure timely departure.
4. Arrival and Transfer Services:
-
Welcome arriving passengers, assist with transfers, and guide them to immigration or baggage claim areas.

Handle transit passengers and facilitate smooth onward connections.
5. Ramp & Aircraft Support (if assigned):

Escort passengers and crew to the aircraft safely using tarmac transport.

Supervise loading/unloading of cargo and baggage.

Assist in aircraft cleaning, catering coordination, and refueling communication.
6. Coordination and Communication:

Coordinate with airline operations, customs, immigration, security, and ground handling units.

Update flight status, gate changes, or delays and assist passengers with rebooking or accommodation if needed.

Maintain clear communication using radios, phones, or dispatch systems.
7. Safety and Security Compliance:

Follow airport security protocols at all times.

Ensure passenger identification and travel documents are checked properly.

Report suspicious activity or security breaches to appropriate authorities.
