Qualification : A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where‘er grading system is followed) will be required at the Master's degree level with good academic record for those candidates to be recruited as teachers at any level from industries and research institutions and at the entry level of Assistant Professor. The minimum requirement of good academic records- second division at Graduate Level and 55% marks at Master Degree level and qualifying in the national eligibility test (NET) or an accredited test (SLET/SET) shall remain for the appointment of Assistant Professor. NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum elegibility condition for recruitment and appointment to the post of Assistant Professors, provided that the candidates who are or who have been awarded as Ph.D. degree in accordance with University Grants Commission (Minimutn standards and proceedure for award of Ph.D. degree) Regulations 2009 (as amended vide Regulation 2016) shall be exampted for the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of next NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors. The relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55 to 50% of the marks to those Ph.D degree holders from a recognised Indian/Foreign university, who have passed their Master's degree prior to 19 September, 1991. The relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master's/Graduate level for SC/ST and Physically and visually handicapped applicants.
Pay Band : Rs. 15,600-39,100 + AGP Rs. 6000
Application Fee : Demand draft of Rs. 1000/- for Unreserved and Other Backward Class candidate and Rs. 500/- for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates as application fee in favour of "Finance Officer, Allahabad State University, Allahabad" payble at Allahabad with the application form. Application fee once paid will not be refunded.
