Job Description
The Ambulance Driver is responsible for safely operating emergency vehicles to transport patients to and from medical facilities, emergency scenes, and healthcare appointments. This role supports medical personnel during patient transport, ensures vehicle readiness, and maintains compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Operate ambulance vehicles safely and efficiently in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Respond promptly to dispatch calls and follow designated routes using GPS and radio communication.

Assist EMTs and paramedics with loading, unloading, and securing patients safely.

Ensure proper use of lights and sirens in accordance with traffic laws and EMS protocols.

Maintain cleanliness, fuel levels, and operational readiness of the ambulance.

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.

Assist medical staff with basic patient support when required (within scope of training).

Maintain accurate transport logs, trip sheets, and vehicle documentation.

Adhere to infection control policies and safety procedures.

Provide courteous and professional interaction with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
