AMITY UNIVERSITY Inviting Applications for Campus Marshal
Amity University are looking for experienced, competent and committed individual for the position of Marshal for its Noida campus
Campus Marshals are the specially selected persons, preferably ex-servicemen, appointed primarily to help in enforcing general discipline and Anti-Ragging Measures in particular. These personnel have been specially trained with comprehensive and appropriate orientations, instructions and are performing roles & responsibilities as detailed below:-
Roles & Responsibilities
Round-the clock surveillance including sensing, observing, preventing and reporting any incidence of indiscipline or ragging or use of narcotics/alcohol by way of any practice or incitements
Perform duties in the Anti-Ragging Control Room under the instructions of the Duty Proctor
Effectively patrolling the campus as part of the Anti-Ragging Patrols, prevent and report any incidence of ragging or abetment of ragging to the Anti-Ragging Control Room & Duty Proctor immediately.
Ensure timely return of hostellers to their respective hostels as per the scheduled time and anti-ragging regulations of AUUP and ensure that the day scholars are not present in the campus after 8pm.
Observe any act, practice whether verbal or otherwise, derogatory of women.
Other General Duties
General surveillance, vigil and alertness in use of drugs and narcotics, other intoxicants, on-campus smoking, possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages and gambling in any form.
Sensing carrying of, use, of or threat to the use of any weapons.
Vigil and alertness in sensing incidents of physical assault or threat to use physical force.
Effective patrolling in various blocks, toilets, cafeterias, underground parking, sports complex and University Entry / Exit gates.
Observations on misbehaviors or cruelty towards any other student, teacher or any other employee of the University.
Identify and prevent willful destruction of the property of the University/Department/Institute or other constituent Units.
Help in enforcing disciplinary controls as per the instructions/directions of the Duty Proctors/competent authority at the any event and/or function of the University.
The candidate should be a Graduate and is expected to have good communication and writing skills in English. The Candidates should not be more than 40-55 years age.
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in similar capacity, preferably in College/University and Ex-Servicemen.
Remuneration shall not be a constraint for the right candidates
