Brief description :

Android application developer for an American company based in Technopark:

American company looking for talented, experienced and the best android developers to anchor new Trivandrum office in Technopark.
Work on exciting new video recording/editing, messaging, and educational Apps.
Your primary focus will be Android application development.
Having IOS development experience is also a big plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

Translate Designs and Wireframes into high quality code.
Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable and reliable code.
Ensure best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Help maintain code quality and organization.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Work with web development tools such as PHP/MySql and Javascript.

Skills Required:

Knowledge of Android SDK along with the different versions of Android.
Know how to deal with different screen sizes.
Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices especially in using constraint layouts.
Proficient in using Git, Jira.
Proficient with Linux CLI would be a plus.

Preferred Skills Required:

Use Android Studio.
Basic Knowledge using PHP, MySql, Javascript.
Experience working with video capturing and manipulation in android environment.
Experience with offline storage, threading, sockets and performance tuning.
Familiarity with cloud message API’s and push notifications.
Familiarity with RESTful API’s and know how to connect to back-end services.
Some knowledge in Kotlin is a plus.
