Ability to understand the inputs and develop the application from scratch.
Create wireframes and other documentation
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with differentscreen sizes
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Hands on experience with live apps on the play store.
Familiar with using web services like REST APIs, SOAP APIs.
Familiar with SQLite, Network caching, Image caching, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), AmazonS3 CDN.
Experience working with chat applications, social media applications will be a plus.
