Application Engineer
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Application Engineer to join our team. The Application Engineer will act as the technical and commercial liaison between customers, the sales team, and the operations department. This role involves handling customer enquiries, selecting appropriate products, preparing detailed costing, and developing techno-commercial proposals.
The successful candidate will also manage order processing through the company’s ERP system and coordinate product delivery, ensuring seamless communication and support between sales and operations teams.
a) Handle all the enquiries received from the customer and salesperson.
b) Selection of Products & preparation of Costing.
c) Preparation of the techno commercial proposal & clarifies all the queries from customers.
d) On receipt of order, process the order using company ERP and arrange delivery of the products to the customer
e) Engage in customer service support in helping both the sales & operations team.
Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of the company’s product range and technical specifications.

Proficient in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for preparing reports and proposals.

Basic knowledge of costing and pricing methodologies.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and product datasheets.
Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Customer-oriented approach with a service mindset.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
