Position Title Application support analyst

Location Begumpet, Hyderabad

Type of Position Full Time

The Application Support Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting multiple functional rich high availability business applications and highly demanding business users.
Additional responsibilities include but not limited to trouble-shooting complex issues, managing critical incidents and bridge calls, problem analysis, process improvement, automating repetitive tasks, maintaining knowledge base and documentation.

Over 5 yearsâ of experience in IT, including 3 yearsâ experience in a support role.
Experience with Alert Monitoring, Ticketing/ Incident Management tools like HP BSM, HP Open View, BMC Remedy, Service Now and xMatters or similar tools
2 yearsâ support experience in Unix and Windows platforms, experience with basic Unix commands, understanding of databases and writing simple SQL statements using tools like Toad, Rapid SQL etc
Experience managing bridge calls, and supporting end users
Understanding of application life cycle and ITIL concepts like Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Knowledge Management
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Positive attitude, attention to detail, ability to work in a team, flexibility to work different shifts, including early morning, night and weekend shifts

Nice To Have

Experience supporting end-of-day batch processing using tools like AutoSys, CA7 and JAWS
Some experience as a developer, a BSA or a QA analyst
Experience in supporting Front Office/Back Office applications in Financial industry
