The National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.
In the latest job notification, NIOT announces job vacancies for Apprentice Posts in reference to Notification No: NIOT/E&P/06/2025 (Apprenticeship).
In accordance with the NIOT Recruitment Apprentice Job Notification 2025, NIOT has announced vacancies for candidates who have completed B.Sc/B.Com/Diploma/B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in relevant fields are eligible to apply.
The final selection of applicants for the desired post will be based on merit after the interview.
The selected candidate will be engaged for a period of one year training stipend get of Rs.12000 to Rs.13000 per month.
Interested and qualified individuals must attend the walk in interview on 27.10.2025.

Eligibility Criteria for NIOT Apprentice Posts:No.of Vacancies: 25.
Name of the Posts:
Technician Apprentice: 8.
Graduate Apprentice: 17.
Age Limit:
Between 18 to 26 years.
Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates who have completed B.Sc/B.Com/Diploma/B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in the relevant subjects can apply.
Selection Process:
Based on the Interview.
