Educational Qualification: (i) The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 system) with 50% marks and ITI pass certificate in related trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute affiliated to NCVT. (ii) Physical Fitness- A person shall be eligible for being trained under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeships Rules-1992 as amended from time to time, if he or she satisfies the minimum standard of Physical fitness as prescribed in the aforesaid Act and rules and the standards prescribed for imparting training to the relevant trade which will be certified by a railway doctor.
Age : 15 - 24 years
Stipend :1 Stipend will be paid as per instructions issued by Railway Board from time to time.
Fee: A postal order/Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- as processing fee which is not refundable is to be enclosed with the application form No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PH/Women candidate. Applications not accompanied by processing fee, wherever required, will be summarily rejected.
Selection Process : The selection of Act Apprentice for training will be done on the basis of merit list prepared from the candidates who have applied & eligible in reference to the notification. There will be no written exam or interview/or exam in this selection. (ii) Merit list will be prepared taking the average of the % age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation (with minimum 50 % (aggregate) marks) and ITI examinationgiving equal weightage to both.
Training period and Training Place: Training period will be as per Railway Board's letter dated- 22.07.2002 (RBE No- 119/2002). Training place will be in Agra division.
