A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.  A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.  Diploma under recognized Lateral Entry Scheme (Class XII-Sc)/ITI admitted in the second year of Diploma course shall also be considered.

Stipend per Month: Rs. 7,574/-

AGE: Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules. The minimum age limit is not less than 14 years.

Alagappa Chettiar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Shanthi Swarup Bhatnagar. Fast forward five years, on January 14, 1953, the institution became a reality when Dr. S. Radhakrishnan dedicated CSIR-CECRI, the 12th national laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), to the nation.
