Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to analyze Data, existing process and suggest approach and design solution.

• Interaction with business and team lead to understand the business requirements.

• Produce high quality Technical & Release documents and work in collaboration with other teams.

• Create business rules using ETL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers to meet project requirements

• Tune data model and relational implementation to ensure excellent response times.

• Extend the data model to support new data sources required by the project requirements

• Quality assure stored proc output and response times meet business requirements

• Responsible for design, programming, deployment, testing and maintenance of one or more applications using SQL Server technologies

• Perform functional and non-functional testing of the applications and deliver stable applications

• Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities.

• Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.

• Directly impacts the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others; impacts own team and closely related work teams.

• Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks

• Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery

• Involvement in Software Development Lifecycle

• test case reviews and ensure code developed meets the requirements

• Code reviews, test case reviews and ensure code developed meets the requirements

Knowledge/Experience:

• 7-10 years of intensive experience in the analysis, design, development and support of large complex applications with ability to analyze and process data.

• Ability to envision and design end to end solution.

• Bachelor s degree MCA /B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (in computers, information technology or engineering)

• Ability to work as part of global team and independently

• Interpersonal skills to interact with team members and clients

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Good understanding of SQL, ETL & data warehousing concepts.

Skills:

• 7-10 years overall working experience

• Ability to write SQL/PL-SQL/TSQL queries on MS SQL Server/Oracle.

• Experience in using ETL technologies Talend/Informatica/ODI to write complex workflows.

• Exposure to Linux env with experience in writing shell script.

• Exposure of any BI tool including schema design, optimization, complex documents design for web and mobile.

• Experience in platform with big Data source is additional advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering/Computers
