Job Overview
An AR Caller (Accounts Receivable Caller) in the US Healthcare Voice Process is responsible for calling insurance companies to follow up on outstanding medical claims and ensure timely payment. This is a night shift job as it involves working in US time zones. The role is ideal for freshers with strong communication skills and an interest in the healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) industry.
Key Responsibilities

Claim Follow-Up & Payment Collection
- Call US insurance companies to check claim status and follow up on pending payments.
- Identify the reason for claim denials or delays and take corrective actions.
- Request insurance representatives to process claims quickly.

Denial Management & Appeals
- Analyze denied or underpaid claims and take necessary steps for resolution.
- Work with the billing and coding team to rectify errors in claims.
- Resubmit claims or file appeals when required.

Documentation & Reporting
- Accurately document call details, claim status, and next steps in the system.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on calls made and payments received.

Communication & Coordination
- Professionally interact with insurance representatives and healthcare providers.
- Work closely with the internal billing and accounts team to resolve claim issues.

Compliance & Process Adherence
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient data confidentiality.
- Adhere to company policies and quality standards in claim processing.
