Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Architect at Grihscape in Gurugram. The Architect will be responsible for architectural design, project management, software development, and integration tasks on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- 0-3 year Experience in Architect
- Project Management expertise
- Software Development and Integration capabilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Concept Development:

Create innovative architectural concepts based on client needs, site conditions, and functional requirements.

Prepare initial sketches, 2D drawings, and 3D visualizations to convey design intent.

Utilize software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite to present designs.

Collaborate with clients to revise and finalize design proposals based on feedback.
2. Project Documentation and Planning:

Develop detailed construction drawings, architectural blueprints, and technical specifications.

Coordinate with structural, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing consultants to integrate their inputs into the architectural design.

Ensure drawings are accurate and aligned with regulatory requirements and budget constraints.

Create Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and assist in cost estimation.
3. Client Interaction and Presentations:

Conduct client meetings to understand project goals, aesthetic preferences, and budget.

Present design proposals, material selections, and layout plans.

Offer professional guidance on building materials, environmental design, and space utilization.

Ensure client satisfaction through regular updates and transparent communication.
4. Construction Supervision and Site Coordination:

Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to architectural plans and specifications.

Visit sites regularly to monitor progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure quality control.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors during the execution phase.

Conduct site inspections to check compliance with safety standards and design integrity.
5. Regulatory Compliance and Approvals:

Prepare and submit drawings to municipal or regulatory bodies for necessary permits and approvals.

Ensure the project complies with zoning laws, environmental regulations, fire safety norms, and local building codes.

Address feedback or objections from authorities and update designs accordingly.
6. Sustainability and Innovation:

Integrate sustainable design practices, including energy efficiency, natural lighting, ventilation, and green materials.

Stay updated with the latest trends in architecture, technology, and construction techniques.
