Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and managing the construction of a variety of projects—from commercial and residential buildings to institutional facilities. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, innovative design skills, and strong project management abilities to ensure that projects are both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound, meeting all regulatory and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Conceptual & Schematic Design:
- Develop initial design concepts and translate client requirements into creative, functional, and sustainable design solutions.
- Produce preliminary sketches, models, and digital renderings to communicate design ideas.
Design Development & Documentation:
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings and specifications using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into design plans.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
Project Management:
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the design and construction process.
- Oversee the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and conduct site visits to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on design options.
- Present design proposals and modifications to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
Innovation & Sustainability:
- Stay current with emerging architectural trends, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and enhance overall project value.
