Job Description
Basic knowledge of design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, 3ds Max or similar tools.
Strong creative and visualization skills.
Understanding of space planning, color theory, materials, and finishes.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Design and Development

Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, budgets, and functional requirements for a building or space.

Develop initial design concepts and present them to stakeholders for approval.

Create detailed architectural plans, drawings, blueprints, and models using both manual drafting and digital software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).

Consider aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability when designing.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other legal requirements.

Integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the design while coordinating with engineers and other consultants.
2. Client Engagement

Conduct meetings with clients to discuss ideas, present progress updates, and refine designs.

Translate client visions into practical and viable building solutions.

Advise clients on materials, construction methods, sustainability options, and cost estimates.

Provide post-construction support and ensure client satisfaction with the final result.
3. Project Management

Manage architectural projects from the design phase through construction completion.

Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and vendors to maintain timelines and budgets.

Monitor the project’s progress and make necessary adjustments to plans or schedules.

Oversee construction to ensure design integrity and resolve any on-site issues.

Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation required for permits, approvals, and internal tracking.
4. Technical Documentation

Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Ensure accuracy and quality of construction documents.

Collaborate with CAD technicians and junior architects to produce comprehensive project documentation.

Maintain updated records of all project documentation including contracts, change orders, and communications.
5. Compliance and Sustainability

Ensure all designs and construction plans adhere to local and international standards.

Promote environmentally responsible and energy-efficient design practices.

Obtain necessary permits and work with regulatory agencies for approvals.

Stay updated on trends, materials, technologies, and sustainability practices in architecture.
