Job Description
The responsibility and role of the Architect could include any of the below, for projects at different stages of its cycle:
i. Understand the project and develop design options. Should also have understanding of the DCR, as applicable.
ii. Should be able to formulate the design and present for review & discussion.
iii. Prepare and develop required drawings, as necessary to convey the design intent.
iv. Co-ordinate with different consultants as required to arrive to an integrated design.
v. Prepare the working drawings of the projectKey Responsibilities:
Design & Planning
- Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs based on client needs.
- Create blueprints, sketches, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
- Ensure compliance with zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
Project Coordination & Execution
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to finalize project details.
- Review construction progress and ensure adherence to designs and timelines.
- Conduct site visits and address any design modifications needed.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and technical documents.
- Obtain necessary approvals and permits for project execution.
- Ensure the use of sustainable and cost-effective materials in design solutions.
