Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our team, responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures, ensuring projects meet client needs and adhere to industry standards. Specialized in residential, commercial and interior projects. Proficient in architectural softwares.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing Building Plans:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, budget, and vision for the project.
- Prepare detailed architectural designs using software tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Develop initial sketches, concept designs, and layout plans.
- Create detailed blueprints and drawings for new construction or renovation projects.
Project Planning and Development:
- Conduct site evaluations to assess location-specific conditions and environmental factors (e.g., climate, geography, local building codes).
- Develop project timelines, cost estimates, and budgets.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, interior designers, and other professionals to ensure the building’s functionality and safety.
Technical Expertise:
- Ensure designs meet all legal, safety, and environmental regulations, including building codes and zoning laws.
- Address technical challenges, such as structural integrity, energy efficiency, and sustainable design practices.
- Use advanced software tools and technology (e.g., BIM – Building Information Modeling) to model and simulate designs.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work with other professionals, such as contractors, engineers, and urban planners, to execute the designs.
- Attend meetings with clients to refine their design ideas and resolve any issues.
- Supervise construction work to ensure that designs are followed accurately and quality standards are maintained.
- Communicate with project stakeholders and manage expectations.
Sustainability and Environmental Awareness:
- Integrate environmentally-friendly features, such as energy-efficient systems, green materials, and passive design strategies, into designs.
- Promote sustainability in every stage of the project, from initial planning to construction and beyond.
- Keep up-to-date with green building certifications (e.g., LEED) and other relevant environmental standards.
Permit and Documentation Management:
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for building permits and regulatory approvals.
- Handle contract negotiations, working with legal teams and clients to ensure all project documents are in place.
Client Relationship and Communication:
- Maintain positive client relations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Regularly update clients on project progress, timelines, and any potential issues.
- Provide recommendations for materials, finishes, and other aesthetic elements.
Post-Construction Involvement:
- Oversee the completion of the building, ensuring the project is executed according to the approved plans and specifications.
- Conduct post-construction evaluations, ensuring the structure meets the initial design goals and client expectations.
- Address any post-construction issues or modifications as required.
