Job Description
• Location:** Kolkata, India.
• Design residential and commercial buildings as per prevailing municipal regulations.
• Make floor plans, elevations for the projects. Prepare and modify plans Prepare working drawings and sales drawings during constrúction stage.
• Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar).
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants, business development team with regard to projects on approvals.
• Lead and manage architectural projects from conceptual stages through to completion.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present design proposals, detailed drawings, and specifications
• Collaborate with structural engineers, contractors, and other professionals
• Conduct site visits to check on project progress and quality of work.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during construction
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and MS Office

Strong skills in 3D modeling and rendering (Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, etc.)

Solid understanding of design principles, space planning, and detailing

Knowledge of basic building codes, construction materials, and sustainable design concepts

Creative thinker with strong visual and graphic communication skills

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Team player with good verbal and written communication
