As a Solution Architect, you will pioneer/support delivery of innovative use cases, bringing together a set of technologies and applications, both newly created and on an exciting development journey within IIT.
The role will support use cases across the business areas and will be responsible for managing and building out key Solutions, taking accountability for existing products as well as designing and implementing both the tactical and longer term strategic end to end (E2E) product lifecycle roadmaps.
As a Solution Architect, you will gain understanding of system landscape and data across functional areas, provide SME support to technology and delivery teams. You will also act as an interface between business and technology by understanding business requirements, converting it into functional/technology specs.
You will also support/train other members of the wider DPS team to improve understanding of the in order to deliver right technical and functional solution effectively and efficiently.
The role would be responsible for understanding the E2E Business requirement and converting those into Solution Design documents.
The individual would need to gain a good data understanding of all the source systems so as to support any downstream Use-Case/MI/Reporting requirements.
Individual would also need to have a good understand of all the customer journeys.

What will you be doing?

Co-ordinate and facilitate requirements gathering workshops with Business Stakeholders
Define and Document E2E Solution designs for business, functional and non-functional requirements, model business process and manage acceptance/signoff process
Analyse existing data structures and assist with development of logical and physical data models
Capture and analyse high level requirements and develop comprehensive business solutions to meet these
Define and optimise customer/colleague journeys across multiple channels
Identify key design issues and develop options and recommendations to resolve
Provide stakeholders and change teams with clear and accurate information on current processes, operating models and business/systems interfaces, and the impact of making changes thereto
Support conceptual technical solutions, drawing upon expertise within the team and working closely with the Platform Architects
Ensure that the Solution Architecture adheres to the principals of Reusability, Scalability and Configurability
Support UAT processes by providing assurance of test

What Were Looking For

IT and Business stakeholder management governance, team building and team management experience
Ability to encourage and inspire team to help realise their potential, providing knowledge and guidance to all team members as required.
Specific qualifications or certification in technology-based skill sets would be an advantage
Ability to work in high pressure, milestone driven project plan.
Planning and estimating from requirements and change requests.
High personal integrity, able to maintain confidentiality and proprietary company information.

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

Graduate with preferred specialisation in IT, Mathematics
Exposure to Banking and Finance domains, as well as technology within banking/finance.
Awareness of management information tools and systems.
Governance and compliance policies, standards, and procedures required to fulfil role e.g. data security, records management.
