Job Description
Position Summary
The Area Sales Representative [ ASR] is in charge of the Monster Business in his/her Territory and reports directly to the Area Sales Manager.
The ASR manages all sales generating activities and relationships with his/her Coca-Cola Operating Unit in order to execute Local key accounts, Claw stores, level activities and develop general trade wholesalers in the assigned Territory. The main role is to increase top line sales revenue while following strict brand guidelines in terms of in-store brand activation and product merchandising.
The ASR who can train, lead by example to the Coca-Cola Sales Organization to execute the planned activities and deliver the expected results.

Essential Job Functions
- Execute partnerships with assigned Local key accounts, Claw stores, and or retailers in order to grow Monster Energy products volume per outlet in the assigned territory
- Manage Monster Energy product (or packaging) quality, branding, influence of general trade consumer pricing, brand activation and execution of consumer promotions
- Help execute planned and agreed promotional programs and activities by Bottlers
- Communicate trade promotion plan to the store level stakeholders such as store owners, bottler sales rep., and wholesalers
- Enhance store level brand/ product merchandising
- Other related duties as assigned.
- 3-4 years of sales experience in a retail, Wholesaler or Distributor sales environment
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business, Marketing or Finance
- Demonstrated track record of sales achievement in a hand-on sales environment
- Proven knowledge of Wholesalers, distributor and retail customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers and wholesalers; ability to collaborate at all levels
- Excellent at managing time, priorities and expenses
- Able to work independently while being a team player
- Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Flexibility to travel as needed locally
