Job Description
An Assembly Operator constructs, assembles, and inspects products on a manufacturing line by following technical blueprints, schematics, and SOPs. They use tools to fasten components, ensure quality standards, and maintain a safe, efficient, and clean workspace while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assembly: Assemble components and sub-assemblies by bolting, screwing, clipping, or fastening parts according to instructions.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming components and finished products for defects, ensuring they meet specifications using tools like calipers
.
Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on assembly equipment.
Documentation: Record production data, machine hours, and material usage, including filling out quality check forms.
Safety & Efficiency: Adhere to health and safety regulations (e.g., wearing protective gear) and follow procedures to maintain high production efficiency.
Collaboration: Coordinate with team members to achieve daily production targets and support continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or work instructions.
Hand-Eye Coordination: Strong manual dexterity for handling small parts and operating hand/power tools.
Physical Stamina: Capacity to stand for long hours, perform repetitive motions, and lift moderate weights (up to 35 lbs).
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; Technical education (ITI/Diploma) is often preferred.
Experience: Previous manufacturing or assembly line experience is highly desirable.
