Job Summary

Tata Electronics is actively expanding its precision manufacturing capabilities for global high-tech supply chains. As a Production Associate / Assembly Line Technician, you will be responsible for hands-on assembly, testing, inspection, and packaging of micro-electronic components and premium smartphone hardware. You will operate in a cleanroom environment using high-precision tools and automated equipment under strict international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly Operations: Perform step-by-step physical assembly of micro-components, casings, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), and modules.

• Quality & Inspection: Perform optical and automated quality checks to identify surface defects, component misalignments, or manufacturing anomalies.

• Machine Operation: Operate, monitor, and load material into automated surface-mount technology (SMT) machines, testing rigs, and automated optical inspection (AOI) units.

• Testing & Diagnostics: Conduct functional, electronic, and software testing procedures on semi-finished and finished units.

• Cleanroom Compliance: Strict adherence to cleanroom standards, wearing Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protective wear, and maintaining personal safety and hygiene protocols.

• Production Targets: Meet daily line productivity targets while maintaining zero-defect output.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Qualification: 10th / 12th Pass, ITI (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Fitter), Diploma in Engineering (ECE, EEE, Mechanical), or equivalent.

• Experience: Freshers welcome; 0–3 years of prior experience in electronics manufacturing, SMT lines, or assembly lines is a plus.

• Physical & Skill Requirements: High visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, and dexterity for fine micro-component handling; Basic computer literacy and ability to read assembly work instructions (SOPs); Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
