Job Description
Designation: Asset Management
The internship entails supporting the business in the evaluation of new opportunities and managing the portfolio of investments.
The selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
- 1. Understanding the financial modeling, documentation, and pitch book preparation (either for buy-side or investment committee as an investment memo)
- 2. Understanding the various equity valuation techniques, debt underwriting, and key accounting principles
- 3. Conducting sectoral research for at least two sectors and producing sectoral reports on a periodic basis
- 4. Monitoring portfolio of companies performance and other ad hoc requirements

Other requirements
- 1. Experience of going through a deal-life cycle (M&A, financing, due diligence) will be desirable but not a pre-requisite
- 2. Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with a flair for numbers and the ability to work swiftly on all MS-Office applications viz. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- 3. The ability to critically analyze data points and make a view out of them will also be evaluated in such a candidate
