Assistant Controller of Examination

Qualification : (i) Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7- point scale along with a good academic record; and (ii) 3 years experience in conduct of examinations in University/Recognized Educational Institutions or retired from University/Board/Recognized Educational Institution having experience in conduct of examinations. (iii) Preference will be given to candidates having LL.B. degree.

Qualification : (i) Master's Degree in Special Education/Rehabilitation Science/Social Sciences/MBA-Human Resource Development or relevant discipline. (ii) Minimum 02 years post qualification experience in the area of Special Education/Rehabilitation/relevant field. (iii) Must be computer savvy with a good knowledge of computer applications. Desirable Qualification: (i) Registered with RCI or be eligible for registration in RCI (ii) Candidates with M.Phil/PhD. in Special Education or any other Rehabilitation Qualification approved by RCI and having experience in disability sector will be given preference. (iii) Good in drafting notes, report writing and publication work etc.

The Rehabilitation Council of India(RCI) was set up as a registered society in 1986.On September,1992 the RCI Act was enacted by Parliament and it became a Statutory Body on 22 June 1993.The Act was amended by Paliament in 2000 to make it more broadbased.The mandate given to RCI is to regulate and monitor services given to persons with disability,to standardise syllabi and to maintain a Central Rehabilitation Register of all qualified professionals and personnel working in the field of Rehabilitation and Special Education.The Act also prescribes punitive action against unqualified persons delivering services to persons with disability.
